Being A Hedge Witch
I regularly read Moonroot's blog and after perusing a lovely artilce on creative crafts, I followed a link to this great definition of Hedgewitchery on Donald's Walking In beauty blog.
Though Donald is happy for people to repeat his work, with credit, it's worth visiting the site anyway, as there are some other fascinating items to read. I like the definition of being a Hedge Witch though, it resonated with me, though I did find No. 18 a bit much first thing on a Monday morning!

I am very interested by this definition - particularly the concentration on liminal space; although the techno-speke lost me a bit.
Fascinating useage of the term Hedgewitch - the liminal space idea is one I will explore further, but I'm more the pastoral, tufty grass and Welsh rain sort of a Hedgewitch! Which I'm sure is contained within the multiverse, but the detail's what interests me.
Thank you for this link, Mereth!
Thank you! I stumbled upon this blog ages ago, but lost the link, and now I have it again! Lots of great stuff on Donald's site - thanks!
That is a fantastically written description. Thanks for sharing it!
I've been naturally practicing for as long as I can remember but never found others of like mind (until the internet!).
I was surprised and excited to find like minded people within Buddhism! That list might as well be describing a Buddhist (more or less!)
So, now I practice as I have always done and deepen my meditation using Buddhist wisdom and techniques!

What a fascinating description. My first thought was how I could almost rewrite the same thing in terms of the buddhist path I follow - interesting to find someone else has made the same parallel. Even the liminal space idea which I would think of as the middle way.
